28433 events. 15 files. 4.1 MiB in total.How were these data generated?
These data were collected during the 2015 and 2016 running of the ATLAS experiment and correspond to 10 inverse femtobarns of data. They were reprocessed into light-weight csv files for use in an educational notebook describing machine learning in the search for Dark Matter. The csv includes a limited set of variables specific to this purpose.
How can you use these data?
The data and MC simulation provided by the ATLAS experiment are released under a CC0 license; citation of the data and acknowledgement of the collaboration is requested. This format can be used in a simple python notebook for a dark matter search using machine learning.
Extensive instructions for interacting with the data, as well as documentation of the dataset naming conventions and their contents (particularly for MC simulated data), are provided in the notebook linked below.
