Description

Preprocessed data for the two-lepton/four-lepton analysis example of CMS 2011 open data

These files contain only the muon and electron collections, other physics object collections have been discarded. No selection or quality criteria have yet been applied, it has to be done in the subsequent analysis step.

How were these data selected?

These files contain the muon and electron collections in PAT candidate format derived from the full 2011 RunA DoubleMu primary dataset. No filters are applied, apart from the list of the validated runs. These datasets were produced with the code in

Software to preprocess the CMS 2011 DoubleMu and DoubleElectron datasets for the two-lepton/four-lepton analysis example of CMS open data.

How were these data validated?

Only the list of validated runs for primary datasets of 2011 have been accepted.
