This Virtual Machine (VM) allows you to obtain a computer environment that emulates a data analysis environment as those used by particle physicists. The VM contains ROOT as base software, Python and Jupyter notebook and multiple dependencies for data analysis.
Use this with ATLAS 13 TeV Data and MC Data for 2020 open data release (also recommended for the 8 TeV samples and examples from 2016)
The open data are released under the Creative Commons CC0 waiver. Neither ATLAS nor CERN endorse any works, scientific or otherwise, produced using these data. All releases will have a unique DOI that you are requested to cite in any applications or publications.
