ATLAS Masterclasses

The ATLAS Physics Masterclasses are an outreach programme of the ATLAS collaboration. It illustrates the basic principles of data analysis using actual data taken by the ATLAS detector in 2011. The linked page makes two measurements available: the W path and the Z path. In both paths the user will learn about recognising and identifying particles by examining detector signatures

Dataset from the ATLAS Higgs Boson Machine Learning Challenge 2014

The dataset has been built from official ATLAS full-detector simulation, with "Higgs to tautau" events mixed with different backgrounds. The simulator has two parts. In the first, random proton-proton collisions are simulated based on the knowledge that we have accumulated on particle physics
